Financial Business Data Analyst
My financial services client based in Manchester is looking for a Financial Business Data Analyst to work on a 6 months assignment paying £400.30/day (PAYE / Inside IR35).
Responsibilities:
Business Analysis
a. Requirements gathering, workshop facilitation and process mapping.
b. Creation Business Requirements Documents and management through review process.
c. Creation of Solution Design Documents and management through review process.
d. Finance End User / SME stakeholder management.
Data Analysis
a. Analysis of data in support of Business Analysis activities above.
b. Data profiling to understand issues with existing data.
c. Gathering of facts / information from data to support solution design.
Key Skills
• Experience of working as a Business / Data analyst on Financial systems / data projects.
• Good personal skills and able to present complex problems to end users in an appropriate manner.
• Comfortable with using SQL to conduct data analysis and diagnose problems.
• Understanding of the Financial Services industry.
• Regulatory or Financial Reporting experience a plus.
• Project experience including understanding of planning, resourcing & RAIDs.
• Experience with Banking or Data products – OneSumX / RegPro / FinArch / Power BI / SQL Server.
