Pure Staff are currently recruiting for X4 Van Driver positions with immediate starts available due to continued growth within a well-established automotive parts distribution business in Avonmouth, Bristol.

Working within the automotive industry, you will complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers, ensuring goods are delivered safely, accurately and on time while providing exceptional customer service throughout every shift.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Completing daily vehicle safety checks before starting your route
• Checking delivery manifests and ensuring all stock is loaded correctly
• Loading and unloading automotive parts from a long wheelbase van
• Completing approximately 6 to 10 deliveries per shift
• Using ePOD and app-based systems to record deliveries accurately
• Obtaining proof of delivery and completing all required documentation
• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
• Communicating any delays, issues or delivery queries to the transport team
• Following all company procedures and road safety regulations
• Carrying out manual handling duties, including occasional heavy lifting
• Maintaining high standards of reliability, professionalism and attendance

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Fixed 02:30 start time
• Average shift length of approximately 8 hours
• Occasional extended shifts dependent on customer requirements
• No weekend working
• Ongoing work with no fixed end date
• Immediate starts available

Requirements

• Full UK Category B Driving Licence
• Previous van driving or multi-drop delivery experience preferred
• Good knowledge of UK road networks and safe driving practices
• Ability to complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately
• Comfortable with manual handling and lifting duties
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional and dependable attitude
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
