Job Description:
Strategic Oversight & Financial Reporting
Executive Leadership: Oversee the month-end close, general ledger management, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial statements.
Complex Accounting Mastery: Own technical areas including inventory reserves, production overhead capitalization, purchase price variances (PPV), wholesale sales dilution, and deferred revenue.
Financial Analysis: Deliver detailed monthly analyses on accounts receivable and inventory provisions to the CFO and Chief Accounting Officer.
Treasury & Lending Support: Supervise the preparation of reports required for the organization’s asset-backed lending facility.
Operational Excellence & Innovation
Process Transformation: Act as a change agent to optimize accounting workflows, strengthen internal controls, and implement system enhancements that support global scalability.
Audit Management: Function as the primary point of contact for external auditors, ensuring quality, transparency, and timely responses to all requests.
Compliance: Develop and maintain documented policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure strict adherence to U.S. GAAP and corporate governance.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and professional development to a diverse accounting staff, including oversight of third-party outsource service providers.
Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with FP&A, IT, Tax, Treasury, and Operations to align accounting practices with commercial business objectives.
