Business Trainee

Location: Ringwood, Victoria

Are you looking to kickstart your career in payroll and business administration? MEGT has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-focused individual to join our team as a National Payroll Officer Trainee based in Ringwood.

About the role:
This business traineeship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and build your skills while working in a supportive payroll team. You’ll learn how to:

• Process weekly wages, allowances, reimbursements and termination pays
• Assist with employment benefit payments for apprentices and trainees
• Manage payroll queries including timesheets, payslips, leave and entitlements
• Maintain accurate payroll records and comply with relevant legislation
• Support end-of-year payroll processes and reporting

What we’re looking for:

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident working with figures
• A positive, self-motivated attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
