Are you a First Nations university student looking to gain practical industry experience while receiving support for your studies? Pitt & Sherry is offering a unique opportunity to take part in a paid internship and receive a scholarship to help with study costs.

This program is designed to give you hands-on exposure in your chosen field while you continue your degree. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and be part of a supportive and inclusive team that values diversity and cultural heritage.


This role is open to applicants based in Melbourne, Sydney, and Tasmania.

What will you be doing?
Based on your course requirements, you’ll complete either:

  • 4 weeks full-time OR
  • 1 day per week over 8 weeks

You’ll work on real projects, learning from experts in the field and building experience that will give you an edge in your future career.

About you

  • Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • Currently enrolled in a degree in Engineering, Business, Legal, HR/P&C, WHS, Environmental, Financial, or IT (or a related field)
  • Eager to gain hands-on experience and learn from industry professionals
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work well in a team environment
