Salary: GBP45000 - GBP60000 per annum + Negotiable for the right candidate

Hampton’s Resourcing are currently working exclusively with a small private company who provide Housing and Care for individuals who require care and support across a variety of setting ranging from housing. Supported living and extra care.

An exciting opportunity has come up to join this new and thriving company in the brand new addition to the senior Management team as a Business Development and Commissioning Manager this will be a remote based role with a national coverage and travel.

The appointed Business Development and Commissioning Manager will be expected to successfully lead the development of the existing and new business by building relationships and partnerships with Care Providers to enable the company l to be a preferred provider of homes for vulnerable adults under their care.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Create partnerships and relationships with Care Providers (and manage existing) regarding specialist supported housing and extra care/ assisted living.
  • Analyse care providers and assess suitability for partnerships
  • Agree headline terms with Care Providers and outline scheme criteria
  • Agree lists of current relationships with Registered Providers to simplify SLA’s and contracting for a more fluid process
  • Obtain local commissioner support for schemes
  • Management and implementation of nomination agreements
  • To negotiate with a variety of external stakeholders on a range of matters, including supplier contracts and other financial matters, such as negotiating fees and rent with Housing Benefit teams
  • To act as the intermediate between the acquisitions team and care providers to determine applicability of properties we source
  • Review potential acquisitions with Care Providers

Candidates suitable for this post will be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong  business development skills
  • Commissioning & Referral Management knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of care provision and potential demand in specific area
  • Understand current and future demand from Local authorities and preferred Care Providers Understand nomination agreements and be able to implement.

Annual Salary: Negotiable for the right candidate + additional Benefits
