About the Role

Our client, a reputable business in the automotive industry, is seeking a Used Car Sales Manager to lead their Exeter branch. This role involves driving sales performance and profitability while ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance. The Role

• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a team of Sales Executives and Business Managers.
• Drive used vehicle sales performance and departmental profitability.
• Ensure outstanding customer service throughout the buying journey.
• Support the sale of finance, GAP insurance, warranties, and additional products in a compliant manner.
• Manage sales campaigns, promotions, and dealership objectives.
• Monitor KPIs, sales targets, and operational performance.
• Maintain high standards of FCA compliance and ethical selling practices.
• Manage stock presentation, pricing, vehicle turnaround, and profitability.
• Conduct first and second-face customer interactions where required.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as a Used Car Sales Manager or Automotive Sales Manager.
• Proven track record of increasing sales and profitability.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
• Excellent commercial awareness and customer focus.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
