Factory Operative – Birmingham (B5)

£12.71 per hour | Monday–Friday | 7:30am–4:00pm

We’re recruiting a Factory Operative to join a busy production site in Birmingham (B5). This is a hands-on role supporting key areas of the factory, with full training and shadowing provided initially.

What you’ll be doing

• Support factory operations across production areas
• Manage and handle metals safely in line with company procedures
• Mix chemicals following strict guidelines and safety instructions
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area, including general factory cleaning
• Passivation, Pickling, Polishing metal
• Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
• Work alongside and shadow experienced team members initially, progressing to working independently
• Assist with any other general operative tasks as required

What we’re looking for

You must have experience in at least one of the following:

• Pickling
• Passivating
• Decanting chemicals
• Polishing metal
• Electroplating
