Role Overview:

We are looking for a driven and ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our team. This is a 360-degree recruitment role where you’ll be responsible for developing business, sourcing candidates, and managing the full recruitment process from initial brief to placement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
  • Identify business opportunities and convert leads into active clients
  • Advertise job vacancies effectively across job boards and social platforms
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates, matching them to suitable roles
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, ensuring excellent candidate and client experiences
  • Negotiate terms of business and candidate offers
  • Maintain up-to-date records using internal CRM systems
  • Meet and exceed individual and team performance targets

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in recruitment or a fast-paced sales environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and self-disciplined
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident using MS Office and CRM/ATS systems

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the local Teesside employment market
  • Experience in sectors such as ports, logistics, engineering, or manufacturing
  • Full UK driving licence
