Quality Inspector

Up to £18.00 per hour
Permanent | Full-Time | Day Shift

We’re partnering with a well-established engineering business with an excellent reputation for quality and safety. They’re now looking for a proactive Quality Inspector to support production and ensure products consistently meet ISO 9001 and customer standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out inspections throughout the full production process to confirm compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements
• Inspect components and assemblies using CMM equipment
• Complete internal audits, support COSHH assessments, and coordinate external assessments/visits
• Own quality documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, complete and up to date
• Support production with quality issues, complaints and day-to-day problem solving
• Maintain the calibration system and manage non-conformance reporting and controls

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in a Quality Inspector role within an engineering/manufacturing environment
• Confident reading engineering/mechanical drawings and using a range of measuring equipment
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and processes
• Strong communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
• Comfortable with Excel, including pivot tables, basic data analysis and document control
