Our client provides high-quality laser cutting and fabrication services for a wide range of industries including:

They specialize in bespoke steel products such as grills and fire tables, using advanced CNC laser and press brake machinery.

The Role

As a Laser Machinist – Setter Operator, you will:

• Operate high-power fibre laser machines (Biostronic controls preferred, others accepted)
• Set up machines for cutting mild steel (up to 25mm) and stainless steel (up to 20mm)
• Process internal and customer orders with precision
• Work closely with a supportive team in a clean, modern facility

Note: This is a setter/operator role – programming is handled by a separate team.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Experience setting and operating laser cutting machines
• Willingness to work night shifts on a rotating basis

Desirable:

• Familiarity with Biostronic controls (not essential)

Shift Pattern

• Week 1: Monday–Friday, 06:00 – 14:00
• Week 2: Monday–Friday, 14:00 – 22:00
• Overtime: Time and a half after 39 hours
