Stock & Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Bradford

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Contract: Permanent

Holidays: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Stock & Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations within a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on, on-site role responsible for ensuring the warehouse runs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard at all times.

Reporting into the Procurement Manager, you will lead the warehouse team across goods-in, stock control, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch, ensuring excellent service to both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate the warehouse team to meet KPIs and operational deadlines
  • Manage rotas, holidays, absence cover, recruitment, and onboarding
  • Provide ongoing training and upskilling to develop the team
  • Oversee goods-in, stock control, picking, packing, and dispatch to ensure orders are delivered on time and in full
  • Manage the quality and quantity of incoming goods
  • Implement and maintain controls for returned stock, including damaged or faulty goods, repairs, replacements, and warranty returns
  • Maintain accurate computerised stock records and inventory levels
  • Coordinate regular stock takes and stock relocations across all locations
  • Work closely with the Procurement Manager on replenishment requirements
  • Monitor and achieve quantitative and qualitative performance targets
  • Promote continuous improvement and encourage better ways of working
  • Ensure the warehouse remains clean, compliant, and safe at all times
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of stock control and purchasing processes
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills
  • Confident managing your own workload and leading a team
  • IT literate, with experience using stock control systems
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of health and safety within warehouse operations

Desirable

  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
