Search Consultancy is looking for skilled, time-served Joiners to join active site projects across Northumberland. We are partnering with established regional main contractors and timber frame specialists requiring experienced operatives for high-quality first and second-fix carpentry and joinery work on commercial and housing developments.

If you have a valid CSCS card, your own full kit of 110v or cordless power tools, and a proven track record delivering clean, precise timber work, we have immediate starts available.

The Role

  • First Fix Joinery: Constructing roof timber structures, stud partitions, floor joists, window frames, door linings, and timber cladding.

  • Second Fix Joinery: Hanging internal and external doors, fitting skirtings, architraves, door furniture, window boards, and boxing-in pipework.

  • Kitchens & Fit-outs: Installing fitted kitchen units, worktops, hardware, and specialized timber fixtures where required.

  • Site Compliance: Working accurately to technical drawings, maintaining safety standards, and keeping work bays tidy.

Requirements

  • CSCS Card: Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker or Gold Advanced Craft in Carpentry & Joinery, NVQ Level 2 or 3).

  • Experience: Time-served Joiner with solid site experience across commercial or residential builds.

  • Tools & Kit: Full joinery kit (110v / cordless circular saws, routers, nail guns, hand tools) and standard 5-point PPE.

  • Reliability: High level of craftmanship, reliable attendance, and valid UK driving licence (beneficial for site access across the region).

  • Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.
