Search Consultancy is looking for a skilled, time-served Joiner to join busy commercial and residential schemes across the North East. We are partnering with an established regional contractor requiring a precision Joiner specialising in high-volume, high-quality door hanging and ironmongery installation.

If you are a Joiner with your own transport, a valid joinery CSCS card, and the efficiency to consistently complete precision door sets, we have immediate starts available now.

The Role

• Door Hanging & Fitting: Precision fitting, hanging, and scribing of internal timber and composite door sets to site tolerances (target output: 2 complete doors per day).

• Ironmongery & Locks: Mortising, installing handles, hinges, latches, overhead closers, and architectural ironmongery to high standards.

• Finishing & Adjustments: Ensuring smooth operation, correct gaps, fire-seal alignments, and clean finishes prior to site handover.

• Regional Travel: Traveling between active sites across Tyneside, Wearside, and Teesside as required by project schedules.

Requirements

• CSCS Card: Valid CSCS Card in Joinery / Carpentry (Blue or Gold Skilled Worker) is mandatory.

• Transport: Own work van / reliable commercial transport is strongly preferred due to multi-site coverage.

• Experience: Proven track record in high-spec 2nd fix joinery and door hanging.

• Tools & Kit: Full personal joinery kit (router, jigs, planers, chisels, cordless power tools) and standard 5-point PPE.

• Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.
