Salary: GBP11.42 - GBP11.42 per hour

As a temporary Customer Service Advisor, you’re on the front line, delighting customers and solving their problems every day. No two days are ever the same, so you’ll handle a wide variety of queries, issues and complaints relating to water and wastewater. You’ll have the satisfaction of managing customer queries from the first call right through to the best possible solution, either directly or by liaising with our colleagues in other departments and/or arranging follow on activities. It’s your job to help get it right first time, preventing repeat or duplicated contacts by correctly setting customer expectations and demonstrating your expert water knowledge (they’ll teach you everything you need to know) and offering first class customer service in every interaction.

What you’ll need:
You’ll need some proven experience delivering exceptional customer service (although this doesn’t have to be within a contact center) and it’s important you have strong listening and communication skills. You should also be competent in the use of IT systems and be confident implementing their escalation process. Candidates will be required to provide evidence of Maths and English GCSE (Grade C/ 4 and above) at offer stage

Working hours:
Training will take place Monday to Friday. No holidays can be taken for the first 8 weeks of training.
Classroom training will last for up to 4 weeks then you will be required to move onto your selected shift pattern whilst being supported in Grad-bay.

There are 2 shift patterns available – details below:

Pattern 1 – part flexible
4 days Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm with a flexible rest day and 1 shift at the weekend (every weekend) either Sat or Sun between 7am and 10pm. A 5% shift allowance is applicable once you move to working shifts. Total hours per week 37.

Pattern 2 – fully flexible
You will be required to be fully flexible between the hours of 7am and 10pm Monday to Sunday and could work a shift at any time between these hours. You will work a shift at the weekend (either Sat or Sun) every other week. A 10% shift allowance is applicable once you move to working shifts. Total hours per week 37.

This is a contract role for 12 months.
