Looking for hands-on manufacturing work where quality truly matters? Our client in South Oxfordshire is looking for a Composite Technician – secondary bonding / moulding laminator to help produce high-quality GRP moulded components for manufacturing construction.

What you'll be doing:
• Produce and assemble secondary bonding & moulding lamination components to meet production targets
• Cut and prepare reinforcement and core materials for lay-up
• Mix laminating polyester resins, carry out fibre layup and consolidation (wet lamination/open moulding)
• Apply gelcoat using brush and spray methods, including repair and finishing of gelcoat surfaces
• Work from laminate drawings to prepare components for finishing and production teams
• Support trimming, grinding, finishing and quality inspection of finished mouldings
• Complete component tracking information and documentation to support batch tracking and traceability
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe, usable state, and report breakages/deficiencies to the Team Leader
• Keep the production area clean, tidy and compliant with Health & Safety expectations
• Assist with training new staff when required
What you'll bring:
• Experience with wet lamination and open moulding techniques
(GRP moulding production is specifically helpful)
• A practical understanding of cutting, assembly and finishing processes for composite components
• Strong attention to detail and a pride in producing work to a high standard
• Clear communication skills-able to understand and pass on instructions effectively
• The ability to work on your own initiative, stay organised, and prioritise to hit daily/weekly targets
• A problem-solving mindset and a positive attitude that helps build an effective team culture
