Scope of Role
On behalf of our Saudi based client, we are seeking a skilled aviation technical expert with expertise in commercial and military aviation to evaluate and write comprehensive technical proposals on the suitability of fixed wing aircraft to meet their client’s requirements, to purchase specific aircraft for tasking or reconfiguration of existing assets. This role requires a professional with a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and proposal writing within the Aerospace and Défense industry. This role sits alongside our clients Business Development function.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Evaluation:
- Analyse and evaluate technical requirements provided by stakeholders for client’s specific aircraft needs.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure all technical specifications are clearly defined and feasible.
- Evaluate the project and make recommendations on any proposed aircraft acquisitions or develop comprehensive descriptions of proposed configuration/re configuration of existing assets, propose timelines, and resources required for any proposed modifications.
Technical Proposal Development:
- Create a detailed technical proposal that outlines the scope, objectives, and deliverables of the project.
- Ensure the proposal is aligned with customer requirements, applicable regulations, and industry best practices.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Ensure all documentation complies with applicable aviation regulations.
- Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering/science/business administration in any related field is required
- MBA preferred
- Minimum 5 years Technical Aircraft Expertise
- Technical Proposals/Bid writing experience essential
