Our client is a specialist in the design, manufacturing, and servicing of aircraft tooling, engine tooling, engine stands, and aviation ground support equipment. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will integrate with the Global Services Support (GSS) team. Hence, you play a key role in services activities growth and development. You will work on cross-functional subjects addressing both technical and business objectives, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and normative requirements.
The role is to support the operational & business needs, contribute to structure, optimize, and document operational processes & flows. You will support the strategic development and new projects and processes implementation of this fast-growing company.
Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate for this position will approx. 5 years Project Management experience and have a background in Mechanical Engineering, ideally from a Manufacturing or Production environment.
You should be able to analyse and use technical documentation: read and interpret a plan, a manufacturing file and specifications. You should enjoy working in a team, and in a fast- paced international company.
You must be able to communicate using professional English both written and verbally.

Key Duties:

Project Management:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of Services-related projects.
  • Identify project risks and propose associated action plans.
  • Coordinate international and cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate and report to teams and management worldwide.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of project deliverables.
  • Prepare, maintain, and share regular project reports and dashboards.
  • Contribute to the standardization and improvement of project management processes


Technical Support:

  • Define purchasing and outsourcing solutions for workshop needs based on technical requirements.
  • Select suitable suppliers from approved panels, issue and follow-up purchase orders.
  • Define Bills of Material (BOM) and subcontracted manufacturing ranges for after-sales operations.
  • Update and maintain technical data in the ERP (items, tools, documents, ranges, nomenclatures, equivalences).
  • Provide technical support to suppliers during subcontracted manufacturing.
  • Assess feasibility and validate specifications, deviations, and modifications in collaboration with Design Office and Quality teams.
  • Support workshops with technical documentation and ensure proper application of technical requirements.


Processes, methods & training:

  • Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Evaluate, improve and standardize Services processes and practices
  • Create technical, methods and processes documentation
  • Support and train regional Services Teams as per good practices and processes defined
