Our client is a major Saudi based aviation group, and, on their behalf, we are looking to recruit a Strategic Procurement Manager to play a key role in overseeing and optimising the purchasing activities of the organization to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency in the procurement process.

Key accountabilities. 
 

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
  • Lead negotiations with vendors to secure advantageous terms and pricing agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in procurement operations.
  • Manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.


Education/Experience Required 
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in strategic procurement, supply chain management, or similar
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership experience and the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
