Our client has an opportunity for an Aircraft Technician to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation, providing class leading support to the MOD.

Role: Aircraft Technician (unlicensed)
Location: Yeovilton, Somerset.
Hours: Full Time
Salary: Competitive


To be successful in an application you will need to demonstrate that you have completed a recognised aircraft apprenticeship, have military experience or an NVQ level 3 or equivalent. You will also have the right to work in the UK at the time of application and be able to attain a BPSS security clearance.

What you’ll be doing:

Assist in the ground movement of aircraft and be key part of our flight-line operations, including the preparation of aircraft for the upcoming days flying, conducting see-in and see-off procedures as well as being authorised to carry out fuel and oil replenishment on the aircraft, as well as:

  • undertaking scheduled and corrective maintenance and completing all documentation in accordance with current legislation and company procedures.
  • There will be some general duties as required, including (but not limited to), driving, stores duties, housekeeping and other responsibilities as allocated by the LAE or SOM.


Requirements:

  • Aircraft Engineering experience
  • Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards.
  • Driving license
