Our client is a major Saudi based MRO. On their behalf we are looking to recruit a Base Maintenance Manager, as the Manager with heavy maintenance oversight in aircraft maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating heavy maintenance activities on aircraft to ensure compliance with regulations and pre-determined standards.

Key accountabilities. 
 

• Manage and coordinate heavy maintenance activities on aircraft, including inspections, repairs, and modifications.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the quality and compliance of maintenance activities.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to maintenance teams on complex maintenance issues.
• Manage budget and resources effectively to meet maintenance goals and objectives.

Education/Experience Required
 

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in aircraft maintenance with a focus on heavy maintenance activities.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and standards related to maintenance operations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Certification from relevant aviation authorities is a plus.
