On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Quality Manager Officer on an initial 7-month contract. You will be responsible for leading Supply Chain and Quality Management activities across both New Product Introduction (NPI) and serial production phases, ensuring supplier performance, compliance, and industrial objectives are achieved.

Pay: £37.02 per hour Via Umbrella
Location: Filton
Contract: Monday – Friday, 35 Hours per week - 7-month contract
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities
- Implementing Procurement strategy defined by MFT
- Defining couple surveillance decision tree and supplier surveillance plan
- Lead and verify couple compliance to applicable requirements with all relevant contributors
- On Time and on Quality deliveries
- Raising risks, actions follow-up, reporting and escalation in case on deviation to industrial target
- Identifying activities to be delegated to SCQS
- Supply Chain and Quality contribution to the MFT
- Contribute to Engage Suppliers
- Secure Supplier Approval and Run Supplier Control Review
Essential & Desirable Skills:
- Past experience in Supply Chain &Quality,
- Knowledge of PPS (Practical Problem Solving) methodologies such as 8D / 9S, Ishikawa, 5why, etc.
- Experience dealing with suppliers and delivery of parts
- Excellent Communicator
- Strong negotiation skills
- Willingness to work in a multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally when needed.
