Our client is currently looking for a Graduate Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity for an engineering graduate to make a lasting impact by mentoring the next generation of Royal Navy engineers.

Role: Graduate Engineer
Location: Portsmouth
Hours: Full Time – Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30
Salary: £39.000 - £41,000

Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

Responsibilities:
 

• Delivering classroom instruction to groups of up to 24 trainees in: Electronic engineering and electrical machine principles (NVQ Level 4/5) and Basic electronics and mathematics (Level 2/3)
• Conducting practical lab sessions, demonstrating key principles and supervising trainee experiments
• Administering and invigilating both paper-based and online examinations
• Marking and check-marking assessments to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Maintaining and updating training materials
• Collaborating with Training Design staff to align content with DSAT standards and submit updates for approval

Requirements:
 

• Foundation Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or a related engineering discipline
   

This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. The salary will therefore be pro rata’d and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays.
