Logistics & Enablement Lead (BBBH17755) Broughton, Wales

Salary: GBP25 - GBP25 per hour

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Logistics & Enablement Lead on an initial 5-month contract. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Manufacturing, Build Process, and Production System Development teams to ensure all operational customer requirements are fully integrated into the logistics and enablement industrial process. You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of operational requirements, while also supporting the company’s commitment to advancing technology and continuous process improvement across all areas of operation.

Role: Logistics & Enablement Lead
Pay: Up to £25 per hour Via Umbrella
Location: Broughton
Contract: Monday – Friday 35 hours per week, 5 months
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS

Responsibilities
 

  • Direct responsibility for developing an effective relationship with internal customers to ensure full transparency on all aspects of production within designated areas of work.
  • Ensure designated area of work is prepared to enable implementation of build demand
  • Support the recruitment, training and development of staff as appropriate to full fill day to day tasks and ensure regular resource planning to ensure future headcount is in line with enablement strategy.
  • Ensure improvements to the safe working environment are driven through departmental objectives and management.
  • Ensure LOLER equipment is kept operational and ready for use
  • Support development of Use Cases for production system deployment
  • Set up Service level agreements (SLA) with internal & external service providers
  • Raise orders on Click & Buy and ensure immediate goods receipt on delivery
  • Seen as lead operational customer interface for any industrial system
  • Ensure the efficient running of the Enablement system for People, Machines, Materials, Methods and Measurement


Essential Skills:
 

  • Managing all standard enablement activities including calibration of tools, booking tools in and out, maintenance stock checking, liaising with suppliers
  • Experience within facilities maintenance would be beneficial
  • Demonstrated logistics & enablement support to operations working environment
  • Experience of working with services providers
  • Excellent personal and communication skills
  • High self-motivation and high level of attention to detail
  • Works well in a development change environment.
  • Embraces change as a way of adding value in particular within a digital factory environment
