B1 Engineer - Falcon or Bombardier

B1 Engineer - Falcon or Bombardier (BBBH12788) Luton, England


On behalf of our client, we are seeking a B1 Engineer join on a permanent basis. As B1 Engineer you will be supporting the Line Maintenance Manager and be responsible for performing certifying maintenance activity on allocated aircraft check inputs.

Role: B1 Engineer
Salary: On Application
Shift: 5 on 4 off ( 2 full weekends off a month)
Location: Luton

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of aircraft check inputs (whether casualty or scheduled)
  • Capable of assuming responsibilities if business requires for individual inputs or absences
  • On individual base maintenance inputs, responsible for;
    • Safety and Quality
    • Correct use and application of;
      • Tooling
      • Maintenance Data
      • Acceptance of Components
    • Man-hour recording; accuracy and timeliness
    • On time delivery
    • Materials management, e.g. requisitions, core returns etc.
    • Completion and certification of maintenance documentation, including the appropriate ‘staging’ of complex tasks and duplicate inspections, as required
  • As required, instigate appropriate actions for formal Occurrence Reporting
  • As required, instigate appropriate actions for Non-Conformance Reporting
  • Ensure Personal training records are kept up to date (in conjunction with Quality) and that aircraft type approvals are processed in a timely manner
  • Ensures personal presentation is with Customers’ expectations including the obligations of working on an Airfield, and the appropriate use of PPE



Required Experience:

  • Thorough understanding of Part-145 (and Company MOE) requirements and basic understanding of Part-M
  • Hold B1/B2 or B1 EASA part 66 licence and hold Falcon and/or Bombardier types
  • Is current with HF requirements
  • Computer Literate
  • Read & write in fluent English
  • Full UK driving license
  • Have the right to work in the UK without restriction

 

  • Basic understanding of continuous improvement philosophies
  • Understanding of EH&S practices and policies
  • Knowledge of human factors, human performance and limitations
  • Knowledge of logistic processes
  • Knowledge of organisational capabilities, privileges and limitations
  • Knowledge of Part-M, Part-145 & any other relevant regulations
  • Knowledge of relevant parts of the maintenance organisation exposition and procedures
  • Knowledge of occurrence reporting systems (mandatory & internal) and understanding of the importance of reporting occurrences, incorrect maintenance data and existing or potential defects
  • Knowledge of safety risks linked to the working environment
