Our client has an opportunity for a Short Term Planner to join them on a contract basis for 12 months. As the Short-Term Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of airworthiness services, working closely with a range of direct and indirect functions to ensure effective maintenance planning and operational support. You will contribute to the coordination of maintenance activities, working alongside licensed line maintenance engineers, technical specialists, facilities management, security, and health and safety teams to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of the overall airworthiness service.

Hourly Rate: Up to £36 per hour Umbrella – inside IR35
Clearance : Security Clearance and UK Eyes only project
What you’ll be doing:
- Liaise with the IOC Planning Focal Point to understand and coordinate day-to-day maintenance priorities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Regulatory Articles (RAs), regulatory requirements and internal Atlas procedures.
- Develop, maintain and deliver a rolling three-month short-term maintenance plan.
- Identify and coordinate maintenance task requirements to support operational readiness and airworthiness.
- Ensure maintenance planning activities are incorporated into the Flying Programme (Fly Pro) and Integrated Through-Life Plan (ITLP).
- Liaise closely with Technical Services Engineers and Configuration Engineers to coordinate maintenance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Material Support teams and relevant maintenance organisations to ensure effective planning and delivery of all maintenance and modification activities.
- Attend daily operational calls, providing relevant planning updates, progress reports and information as required.
- Input, update and maintain A400M maintenance planning data within the Maintenance Data System (MDS), ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Undertake additional projects and assignments as directed by the Head of Technical Support Operations.
- Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance maintenance planning processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working within the airline or aviation industry.
- Previous experience working within a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO).
- Strong maintenance planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across multiple technical and operational teams.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate maintenance records and planning data.
- A good understanding of airworthiness requirements and maintenance planning procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.
