About the opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for category management across printing, packaging, consumables and finished goods as well as getting involved in strategic sourcing for product development and new product launches. 

Duties

• Manage procurement activities across various categories and portfolios. 
• Stakeholder and supplier management.
• Develop and improve processes within procurement. 
• Monitor risks and implement strategies to ensure continuous supply.
• Strategic sourcing for product development and new product launches. 
• Identify new suppliers and manage the RFQ process. 
• Supplier selection, validation and on boarding.  

Skills and Experience

• Procurement experience working within the medical device, pharmaceutical or healthcare consumable industry is essential. 
• Experience in sourcing for product development and new product launches is highly advantageous. 
• Strong commercial acumen. 
• Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills. 
• Excellent communication with the ability to partner across the business. 
• Ability to manage the end to end supplier engagement process. 
• Experience working on projects and process improvements is essential. 
• Good organisation and problem solving capabilities. 
• High attention to detail and analytical. 
• ERP experience is required.
