Onsite Desktop Support_Alexandria, NSW
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide remote and onsite technical support, troubleshooting and providing resolutions to issues on hardware, software and mobile devices
- Laptop, desktop build/image deployment.
- Conference room setups including AV, VC equipment and online meeting configuration and support.
- Liaise with the various local and international support groups for Incident escalation, Request fulfilment and Change Management.
- Help internal team with new site setups and old site decommissions
- Build and strengthen working relationship with relevant network escalation groups to assist in effective resolution of customer faults.
- Maintain technical and process knowledgebase to maintain currency and relevancy
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in helpdesk / desktop support (3+ years)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills in a medium to large business environment.
- Excellent time management, planning, organization and administrative skills.
- Flexibility to work in a high volume faced paced environment.
- Experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Outstanding deadline management skills with the ability to adjust with flexible priorities.
- Technical Knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10,MS Server 2008, MS Windows 2012, MS Office 2013 and 2016
- Exposure to SCCM, Active Directory, Networks/Switches/Routers.
- Experience in the resolution of network faults and understanding of TCP/IP based networking protocols
- Current Drivers Licence
