We are looking for Deskside Service Engineers L2 with Baseline Clearance for one of our key government clients to assist them with their long-term user support
Please note: This is a long-term maintenance contract - working several hours per day 3-5 days per week (at a minimum of 3 days per week on-site).
SKILLS:
- Significant previous experience in a similar role
- Solid experience in Hardware Support
- Highly knowledgeable on desktop, laptop, printer, mobile devices (common smartphones and tablets)
- Working knowledge of help desk ticketing system (e.g. ServiceNow, Footprints, Remedy) and remote assistance tools such as Remote Desktop Connection, OCS SCCM and TeamViewer.
- Working knowledge of imaging Windows 7, Management tools, and other productivity products in a networked environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the point-of-contact for all deskside user related issues and escalate as required.
- Check and resolve issues with any server/desktop/tablet/printer.
- Review and resolve issues logged with the client Helpdesk.
- Inspecting on-site hardware and log additional service cases with client’s Helpdesk if required.
- Provide assistance with any server and/or system management requests under direction of client’s Technical management.
- Escalate issues according to established procedures.
