Unlock your potential with a prestigious opportunity alongside an award-winning, data-driven industry leader! A dynamic and experienced Technical Business Analyst is invited to join a highly respected Data Platforms team driving impactful decision-making across the enterprise.
You'll be a technically astute Business Analyst joining this Data Platforms team, supporting the delivery of cloud-native data solutions across the enterprise. You’ll play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical execution, translating requirements and enabling scalable, compliant data architectures using Snowflake, AWS S3, and AWS Glue.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements for data platform initiatives
  • Work alongside data engineers and architects to shape solution designs and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Analyse source systems, data flows, and transformation logic to support ETL/ELT development and integration
  • Develop and maintain artefacts including BRDs, functional specs, data dictionaries, and mapping documents
  • Support testing and validation of data pipelines, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and performance
  • Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and backlog grooming with cross-functional teams
  • Ensure solutions comply with relevant regulatory and security frameworks



To succeed in the role you will have;

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in data-centric projects
  • Strong understanding of Snowflake, AWS S3, and AWS Glue (hands-on exposure preferred)
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex datasets, schemas, and transformation logic
  • Experience with SQL for data profiling, validation, and analysis
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery, JIRA/Confluence, and CI/CD environments
  • Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical detail into business values
  • Exposure to other AWS services (e.g., Lambda, Athena, Redshift)
  • Experience in financial services, government, or other regulated industries
