About the role

The position is responsible for the development, and maintenance of the Navitas desktop SOE, standard applications, and management tools and provides effective and timely communication with business stakeholders and others in the IT team.

  • Create standardised processes for management of SOE.
  • Use Microsoft SCCM, InTune, JAMF and other tools to manage endpoints.
  • Package and deploy application packages.
  • Patch all PC endpoints to maintain security compliance.
  • Create and manage company policies for endpoints.
  • Follow change management protocols to ensure the service availability of core business systems.
  • Establish a close work relationship with the other IT teams (such as the Global Service Desk and Global Server Team) to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

The person we seek will ideally have the following:

  • 5 + years or equivalent providing intermediate to advanced IT support
  • Industry recognised certification in an appropriate IT field.
  • Previous experience managing Microsoft SCCM.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Solid organisational skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a remote team environment.
  • Demonstrable experience working in and facilitating collaborative team environments

Desired:

  • Prior experience in leading and managing delivery teams.
  • Experience within the education sector.
  • A solid understanding of Microsoft technologies
  • Qualification in ITIL Foundation
