 About the company

Our client is an Australian multinational speciality biotechnology company that researches, develops, manufactures, and markets products to treat and prevent serious human medical conditions. They are seeking a HR Business Partner to assist their already well-established HR team in two different locations.

Key responsibilities

12 Month HR Business Partner contract:

  • Evaluate performance drivers and metrics and offering leaders with insights and recommendations on their people to influence decision making
  • Supporting all employee relations matters, including providing advice and counsel to managers concerning employee performance, policy adherence, harassment, compliance violations, grievances, conflicts, and union matters.
  • Advising management in appropriate resolution of employee related issues, communicating and collaborating closely with the respective HR Business Partner throughout the process
  • Supporting the cyclical end-to-end Performance Review and Development process
  • Supporting the one off and cyclical compensation and benefits program across the designated client group

3-month HR Business Partner contract:

Reports to Director of HR Global finance. The role has a solid analysis element, therefore seeking someone who possess robust data analytical skills and a clear understanding of HR, who can be strategic. The department has multi country remit – so the duties include a wider perspective.

About you:

12 Month HR Business Partner contract:

  • Full working rights within Australia
  • 3-5 years’ experience as HR generalist
  • Demonstrated experience managing investigations and employee relations matters
  • Good Knowledge of HR processes including cyclical people processes
  • Experience interpreting and applying Enterprise Agreements and Industrial Instruments
  • Business partnership experience
  • Must have the ability to work on-site at Broadmeadows with occasional WFH

3-month HR Business Partner contract:

  • Full working rights within Australia
  • Previous experience as a HR Business Partner or HR Adviser
  • Must possess strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experienced in pivot tables
  • Previous HR background and knowledge
  • Min 5 yrs. exp
  • Workday experience an advantage
  • Does not need Australian work experience
  • Must have the ability to work on-site at Parkville with occasional WFH
