A boutique litigation law firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal / Practice Support Coordinator to support one of the firm’s practice groups with both paralegal and law firm administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoys helping keep cases, attorneys, and internal operations running efficiently.

This position offers a hybrid schedule with required in-office attendance approximately 1–2 days per week but it can vary.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with staffing and coordination of litigation matters
  • Monitor case tasks, deadlines, and calendars to ensure timely completion
  • Manage trial calendars and final arbitration hearing calendars
  • Open new matters and assist with obtaining billing numbers
  • Interface with client contacts regarding administrative and case-related matters
  • Assist with budgeting and compiling matter-related information
  • Handle case closing procedures and file destruction processes
  • Review invoices and assist with billing accuracy and time entry
  • Develop and maintain template documents and brief banks
  • Assist with training materials for new and existing personnel
  • Manage and organize case-related data and internal systems
  • Provide overall administrative and operational support to attorneys and the practice group

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a law firm environment required
  • Administrative experience 
  • Prior experience with e-Discovery software
  • Managerial/Supervisory experience, a plus
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal software platforms
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys and matters simultaneously preferred
