Are you from a construction and stores management background? We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Construction Storeman to join our team. This is a long term role and offers the opportunity to contribute your logistical expertise to the efficient running of a busy construction site.

• Role: Storeman/ Materials Controller
• Location: Ford
• Hourly rate: £17 - £18 per hour
• Contract: Temp - long term
• Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of construction materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate stock records and manage inventory control.
• Ensure the safe and secure storage of tools, materials, and machinery.
• Assist in the ordering and procurement of stock as required.
• Manage the delivery and collection of supplies to and from the site.
• Support the wider construction team by ensuring timely availability of materials.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation within the store.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a stores or logistics role, preferably with a military background.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of construction materials and equipment would be an advantage.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work.
