This is an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager looking to take on a new challenge to offer warm Child Care with a therapeutic approach whilst supporting a company with an incredible ethos and vision to inspire Children and young adults across the UK.

Location: Northampton

Salary Range: £ 30,981 - £ 32,116

  • £150 per month on call allowance additional £1800 per year
  • Earning potential - £33,916.

Your New Company

You will be working for a well-established and successful care provider who are in the process of expanding. The company are looking for an experienced OFSTED Deputy Manager to assist the Registered Manager in the running of a 5 bedded, “outstanding” residential children’s service supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties and other complex, challenging behaviours.

Your new role

As a Deputy Manger you will have a duty of care to both the children and the team of support workers within your home. You will need to provide and build structure, Consistency, and organisation, ensuring the highest standard of emotional, social and physical care is provided to the young persons. You will be promoting the best outcome for the young person with assistance from a multi-disciplinary team, delivering highly motivated leadership and development of a team and providing services which are fully compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements.

 

What You'll Need to Succeed

It is essential you have a minimum of two years’ experience working within a residential setting for either children or young people and you have obtained a Certified Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent as a minimum for Residential Childcare (England). Previous experience as a Deputy Manager is desirable, however it is not essential. Therefore, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to take the next step in their career or for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a new company at an exciting time in their journey.
