IT Technician 1st / 2nd Line Support (RL9001) Harrogate, England

Salary: GBP25000 - GBP25000 per annum + + excellent company benefits

We are currently recruiting for an IT Technician to join a high calibre client working in Harrogate as 1st and 2nd Line Support to their office.

Some of the responsibilities and duties could include, but are not be limited to;

  • Supporting a variety of users up to board level over the phone, remotely and desk side
  • First point of contact for IT for all users within the company, using excellent customer service and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Supporting all users as a priority
  • Log and manage calls via our help-desk system
  • Monitoring systems and servers will be an essential part of the role to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum
  • Interaction with end users as well as our suppliers will be essential
  • Having a good working knowledge of Windows 7 & 10, Office 2013, Exchange and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of networking infrastructures
  • Building PCs / hardware
  • Ability to simplify communications (use of jargon) for end users
  • Troubleshooting Printers, PC hardware, Software related issues
  • Basic TCP/IP Networking
  • Have experience in Imaging PC’s
  • Telephone Mitel experience would be an advantage


This will be working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday earning a salary of £25,000 per annum. Transport is required due to the location of our client.
