Salary: GBP30000 - GBP35000 per annum

PUBLIC COMPLAINTS RESPONSE EXECUTIVE REQUIRED FOR AN ASAP START!! BASED IN BIRMINGHAM £30,000 - £35,000 PER ANNUM - 6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

My client is a well known organisation and due to a particularly busy period they are looking to recruit a Public Complaints Response Executive to join them on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. This is a pivotal position which will coordinate complaints, response times and delivery of public responses as well as parliamentary communication ensuring communities and stakeholders have clear and open channels of communication where they receive accurate, timely and consistent information. The successful applicant would have either worked in a complaints capacity for local authority or a relevant company in a fast paced environment.

[ The role ]

- Support the development and delivery of a 24 hour, 365 days per year, first class public response team which provides compassionate, knowledgeable and accurate information to the general public
- Support the development and delivery of a robust process of logging, responding and reporting complaints in line with both the organisation’s requirements and industry standards
- Support the design, development and implementation of a robust complaints process in line with industry standards
- Ensure quality of all complaint responses meet acceptable standards
- Contribute to regular monthly reports to both internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain awareness and understanding of the political environment in which the role operates
- Identify and manage public enquiry and stakeholder issues when they arise so as to minimise/prevent adverse impact on the project

- Ability to develop challenging relationships and build trust amongst stakeholders and communities, exercising diplomacy at every stage
- Workload management skills
- Analytical skills and ability to interpret and respond to changing landscapes whilst able to understand and communicate complex issues with clarity
- MS Excel skills to an intermediate level (Pivot tables and VLookup)
- Excellent communication, networking and stakeholder management skills
- Abilty to compile clear and concise reports
- Understanding of a complex political environment
