Cisco Security Solutions Architect - CCIE Security – Remote
Job Title: Soltutions Architect / Network Consultant / Technical Pre-Sales Consultant
Location: Home Based with customer visits mainly M4 corridor and London. Good hubs would be London, Maidenhead, Slough, Reading, Newbury, Oxford, Swindon, Bath, Bristol or anywhere that allows you to do M4 corridor and London visits.
Salary: £85,000 – £100,000 basic depending on experience, bonus and on target earnings
Tank Recruitment are currently hiring a Cisco Security Solutions Architect on behalf of a Cisco Gold Partner, which specialise in Enterprise Networks, Mobile Modern Workplace, Collaboration and Security.
Our client have requested that Tank Recruitment select a candidate holding a valid CCIE Security lab certification due to certain Cisco partner criteria’s.
This role will be a mixture of technical pre-sales, client advisory and consulting services, technical design and delivery as well as internal development of new product offerings and solutions.
Being at the epicentre of the business they require someone who can build strong relationships with customers, display passion and enthusiasm for designing and delivering cutting-edge Cisco security solutions.
Technical
- Able to create high-quality technical solution and scoping documents that accurately reflect and address the customers’ requirements.
- Excellent solution architecture appreciation and creation skills.
- Responsible for scoping, proof of concept, design (HLD/LLD) and technical advisory of high end security solutions across NGFW, AMP, Email Security, Endpoint Security and Multi-Factor Authentication offerings.
- Technical knowledge and deployment experience of Cisco ASA and Firepower firewalls.
- Technical knowledge and deployment of Cisco ISE.
- Creation of best practice policies, knowledge centre/share, HLD and technical documentation.
- Investigate new solutions that could benefit the business and customers.
Essential Technologies
- Cisco ASA 5500-X and Meraki MX Series
- Cisco Firepower 1000, 2100, 4100 and 9000 series.
- Cisco Next-Generation Firewall Virtual (NGFWv)
- Cisco Adaptive Security Virtual Appliance (ASAv)
- Cisco ISE

- Build excellent rapport with clients and be the trusted advisor for all their technology needs.
- Extensive Stakeholder Management experience and be able to influence commercial decisions.

- Possess the “fill the room” effect, which means you have the ability to “wow” clients through demonstrating a high standard knowledge and gravitas.
- Be able to engage with customers at all levels and be happy and confident presenting to customers.
Certifications & Accreditations
- CCIE Security lab – please note we cannot consider written must have passed your lab exam.
