We are seeking a Mainframe Scheduling Analyst (ESP)
Join a collaborative IT team supporting a critical enterprise environment. This role will focus on coordinating mainframe application scheduling and code promotion across production, test, and development systems. You will work within a large team interfacing with open systems and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and job execution across platforms.

The Mainframe Scheduling Analyst is responsible for managing workload automation and code promotion activities in a complex IT ecosystem. This includes planning, implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting batch schedules, with a particular focus on Broadcom Workload Automation ESP. The role supports an enterprise-wide SAP rollout and requires coordination between mainframe, SAP S4/HANA, and open system platforms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage mainframe job scheduling across production, test, and development environments
• Plan and execute code promotions between environments
• Review and validate batch runs for accuracy and completeness
• Troubleshoot issues and initiate restarts/reruns as needed
• Collaborate with application development teams during planning, deployment, and maintenance phases
• Ensure proper file transfers and integration with open systems and external vendors
• Support job scheduling and interface development for SAP S4/HANA

• Demonstrated experience with Broadcom Workload Automation ESP (formerly CA ESP/Cybermation ESP)
• Hands-on experience working on IBM Z/OS systems and integrating with open systems (Windows, Linux)

Preferred

• Experience with life insurance enterprise systems (e.g., Ingenium, Life70, IDM, AWD)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of enterprise job scheduling tools such as ESP and Tivoli
• Prior exposure to SAP S4/HANA environments and integration workflows
• ITIL Foundation certificate

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $35-45/per hour, depending on experience.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
