MARINE MECHANICAL GROUP HEAD (JO0148776) Saudi Arabia
REQUIREMENTS:
High school (secondary school) graduate or equivalent with extensive military or industrial
training in the marine mechanical trades.
Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in the Engineering discipline is deasirable. The Mechanical Group Head supervises, assigns, schedules, inspects, reviews and
oversees trough subordinate supervisory personnel all activities of the Mechanical Group.
He provides technical direction and guidance for Mechanical Group Personnel.
He prepares Mechanical Group reports and schedule, maintains Job status and
Mechanical Group records.
EXPERIENCE
Twelve (12) years experience in the Marine Mechanical Trades including five (5) years in a
supervisory position.
Experience may be military or industrial.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supervises, assigns, schedules, inspects, reviews and oversees trough subordinate
supervisory personnel all activities of the Mechanical Group,
· Provides technical direction and guidance for Mechanical Group Personnel,
· Prepares Mechanical Group reports and schedule, maintains Job status and
Mechanical Group records.
· Ensures compliance with safety standards to prevent injury to personnel or damage to
equipment and facilities,
· Manages Mechanical Group policies, procedures to comply with quality standards and
safety standards,
· Assists in maintaining an effective training program of Mechanical Group personnel,
· Coordinates with other Group Heads and Ship Super intendants,
· Develops new methods and processes to improve the work efficiency,
· Transfers his knowledge of position related skills, duties and responsibilities to RSNF
maintenance technicians through On Job Training,
· Performs other duties as assigned.
