Are you a motivated and reliable tradesperson looking to take the next step in your mechanical career? We have a fantastic opportunity with one of our large clients for a Qualified Hydraulic Fitter / Fitter & Turner or Diesel Mechanic who has specialised in hydraulics based in Banyo, QLD.
About the role:
This full-time equivalent position offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience in:
- Focus on hydraulic systems (pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, etc.) diagnostics and repairs
- Assembly and testing of components
- Preventative maintenance and servicing
- Requires strong, hands-on hydraulic experience
- Fitter & Turner or Diesel Mechanic who has specialised in hydraulics would suit this role
- Manufacture and fit hydraulic hoses and pipework
What we’re looking for:
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
- Is Trade qualified as a Hydraulic Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Diesel Fitter, or equivalent
- Has a minimum 5 years post-apprenticeship experience
- Has strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Has experience with mobile or industrial hydraulic systems
- Current driver’s licence (HR desirable)
- White Card (essential)
- Forklift licence (desirable)
