Brisbane is calling for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice ready to step into a high-performance environment and accelerate their HVACR career.

This is a rare opportunity to join a global leader in critical cooling and power systems, working with cutting-edge technology that keeps essential infrastructure running. Based in Newstead and servicing Brisbane and South East Queensland, you’ll be partnered through MEGT and embedded within an experienced, highly skilled technical team.

About the role:

This is not a routine apprenticeship — it’s hands-on exposure to complex, high-value systems where precision and problem-solving matters every day.

You’ll be working across commercial and industrial critical cooling environments, gaining experience in:

• Installation, servicing and maintenance of advanced cooling systems, including chillers and DX refrigerant systems
• Working with smart controllers, micro-control systems and modern HVAC automation technology
• Fault finding and diagnostics across complex mechanical airflow and refrigeration systems
• Supporting full lifecycle service delivery across critical commercial and industrial infrastructure

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking apprentices who are ready to step up and operate in a professional, fast-paced technical environment:

• Currently a 2nd or 3rd Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice
• Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a genuine ability to problem-solve under pressure
• Reliable, safety-focused, and committed to building a long-term career
• Confident communicator who can engage professionally with clients and team members
