DCS Recruitment are looking for PTS trained team leaders to work on a large civil engineering/rail bridge project in the MK2 postal area
Positions available: 5
Scope of project is bearing and parapet replacement to an existing railway bridge running above a main road
Site is in the early stages so initially site works will be to start the parapet demolition trial
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate MEWPs on site whilst trades carry out works under the bridge
- Also undertake general actives on site such as manual works including: drilling, lifting and carrying material, grouting, breaking out concrete, cleaning and housekeeping on site
Start approx .15th July 2019
Initial duration would be 3 weeks minimum for the completion of trials, then to be kept on for the duration of the job once it starts fully, which is approx 2.5 - 3 years long
Working hours: 8am - 6pm (mon-fri)
Ideal candidate will have:-
PTS
CSCS card
Additional training desired but not essential as you may receive this training: manual handling, abrasive wheels, use of harness (only for IPAF)
Experience on Rail bridges
Be able to PASS a Drug and Alcohol test on induction
Non-branded Full Oranges PPE
