Nicholas Associates has an excellent opportunity for a Social Media Specialist to be based in Warwick.
Our client is an award winning technology company, with a unique and innovative product. They are seeking to recruit a Social Media Specialist to own and scale their organic social presence—building brand awareness, increasing audience engagement, and making our client the go-to name in their industries.
In this role, you’ll develop and execute the social strategy that blends video-first content strategies that drive platform growth, build community, and strengthen brand awareness. You’ll shape our client's brand voice, creating engaging content, and turning social media into a key driver of audience growth and product demand.
You will bring a proven track record of growing organic social channels, a deep understanding of platform-specific best practices, and the ability to align social content and community activity with broader business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a platform-specific organic social strategy that aligns with our client's goals, brand positioning and audience insights. Balancing creative storytelling with performance driven outcomes
- Lead the creation, publishing, and optimisation of our organic social content to engage and educate our client's audience, across their channels. Such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn
- Create versatile content assets, including videos, graphics, and thumbnails, designed for high-impact storytelling and effective repurposing across platforms and campaigns
- Continuously research and stay ahead of platform trends and algorithm changes to optimise content. Testing new hooks, formats and way to storytelling to improve performance metrics
- Collaborate with on-camera creators and videographers to provide creative direction, performance insights, and feedback to optimise content for engagement and retention
- Actively engage with our client's audience by responding to comments, managing DMs, and fostering meaningful relationships with professionals in their industry. Own and scale our client's Facebook Group, creating a hub for discussion and connection
- Partner with other teams to develop organic social strategies that support lead generation, webinars, and other key marketing initiatives
- Analyse and report on performance data, spot trends and use insights to refine content strategy
- Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarks to identify opportunities
- Share insights and learnings from social media efforts with other departments to support broader marketing strategies and enhance brand development
Required Skills:
- 3+ years managing organic social media content and community engagement, ideally in e-commerce brand
- Proven content creation skills across multiple platforms. Such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Deep understanding of platform trends, audience behaviours and best practices
- Experience with community management and building relationships (comments, groups, DMs and engagement)
- Strong with data to track performance, analyse insights and optimise content.
- Excellent communicator to work with wider team and give detail feedback and reports
- Ability to maintain and adapt brand voice across different platforms
- Strong copywriting skills for posts, responses and social captions
- Proficiency in social media and design tools (e.g. Canva, scheduling platforms)
- Strong organisational skills to manage projects, content calendars, reports and feedback
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all published content.
