Castle Education are seeking to appoint Swim Teachers to deliver high quality lessons within Scarborough.

The Swim Teacher role is part-time offering around 2 hours per week/fortnight on Saturdays and would be ideal for those who have a real passion for swimming and teaching individuals such an important life skill.

You would be required to support basic swimming skills and the development of strokes with adults in groups of 6-7. Experience of learning disabilities would be useful but full support and training would be given to enable high quality teaching is delivered.

This is a great opportunity to work with a passionate team within an excellent swimming environment and most importantly this will be extremely rewarding to provide skills and experience to adults with learning disabilities or physical disabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Level 2 or equivalent Swim Teacher qualification

Experience of teaching

A valid DBS certificate registered with the update service (Castle Education can provide details on how to obtain this if required)
