Castle Education are currently seeking experienced Cover Supervisors for the start of the Autumn Term to work within a local school that is determined to find candidates with good strengths of character.  We are looking for Cover supervisors that are based around the areas of Hartlepool, Stockton and County Durham who are available for daily bookings or longer-term placements. Cover supervisors provide day to day cover for pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. An ability to deliver lessons of a variety of different subjects at Key stage 3 and 4 and the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively are must-haves.

I would be keen to speak with people with the following qualities: -

> Experience of working within classrooms, preferably within a secondary school environment

> A Good level of education with a minimum of a grades C in English and Maths (or Level 2 equivalent) 

> A current DBS on the update service (or must be willing to gain one)

> Flexibility and adaptability to work within different environments and covering different subjects, often at short notice

> Strong practitioner and able to manage a classroom with different levels of ability
