Castle Education are now recruiting for Secondary English Teachers in the Scarborough area, to work either on a day to day, long term supply, or permanent basis. We are looking for English specialists that can deliver English across the full range and ability at KS3 and KS4 and to be able to maximise the potential of all students of all abilities. We are now recruiting to help English teachers secure their ideal role for September.

We are look for a passionate individual with a dedicated and innovative approach to teaching English to Key stage 4 or 5.

As an English specialist you would be promoting and developing attainment in this essential life skill. We are looking for strong subject specialists to promote KS3 and KS4 English. 

The role requires some excellent subject knowledge and vocational experience including;

• A Degree in English.
• Relevant Professional qualifications, including a relevant teaching qualification including QTS, although NQT's are also welcome and encouraged to apply.
• Current DBS on the update service, or willing to gain one through Castle Education
• Demonstrable experience teaching English to KS4.
