Castle Education are working exclusively and in partnership with Scarborough Tec to recruit for a Programme Leader (Course Leader) of Electrical.

Scarborough Tec is a vibrant and thriving Further Education College on the stunning Yorkshire Coast and situated in the seaside town of Scarborough. The college has a community feel and boasts excellent vocational skills and training. The Programme Leader Electrical role is 15 hours post that will involve planning and delivering high quality teaching and learning to learners and supporting them through the whole study programme. You will be required to be knowledgeable and have a variety of tools to support learners to achieve success in their qualification. You will be required to work alongside other teams in the college to support the learners through varied aspects of the programme and it will be important to create a motivational and thriving classroom and workshop experience to maximise attendance and achievement for all.

Qualifications and experience required for the role;

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent 
• Minimum 2 years industry knowledge and skills to bring to the classroom
• A teaching qualification including; Level 3 Award in Education Training, PGCE or Cert Ed or a willingness to complete within a recommended time-frame.
• Classroom experience would also be advantageous

The Salary for this role would be £26,250-33,000 pro rata
