Castle Education are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Carer for a permanent role, within a residential setting, offering up to 39 hours per week with either days of 7am until 9pm or night shifts of 9pm until 8am. Part time hours are also available for the right candidate, at a minimum of 19.5 hrs per week. The residential home is based in the York area. The shifts offer £9.52 per hour.
As a Carer you will play a vital role in ensuring all resident's needs have been met including administrating medication. The successful Carer must ensure that all care plans are kept up to date, support residents with eating and drinking, taking residents on day trips and encouraging them to maintain interest in activities they enjoy.
In order to be considered for the role you must have:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
- Be trained in delivering medication
- Hold an enhanced DBS
- Be committed to the residents
- Have previous experience within the Care industry
