Out of School Club Leader

Salary: GBP17400 - GBP17500 per annum

Castle Education are currently working with a Primary School situated on the outskirts of York, to recruit for a Breakfast, lunch and after school club Leader.

The role will be working with children of Primary age in the before school, lunchtime and after school clubs. The purpose of the role is to interact, supervise and to play with the children during the clubs. The candidate will work closely with colleagues to create engaging activities for the children to complete, this enables the children to build strong friendships whilst attending the clubs. The clubs are very busy, with over 100 Primary children attending each day

The role is for 30- 33 hours a week. There are various shifts available with a daily pay rate equivalent to a salary of £17’500 per year (term time only). The Position is on a temporary contract, with the potential to go permanent at a later date.

It is essential for the successful candidate to have experience running busy school clubs, or similar experience with Primary aged children and must have a minimum level 2 Childcare/TA qualification or equivalent.

Due to the location of the school, it is necessary for you to be a driver, as the location proves difficult to get to using public transport.
